about

"Electronic Works" is my new compilation album spanning 2010 to 2018. I have dug up old recordings and projects for this compilation so to give you almost the widest representation possible of my electronic music work over these eight years.
Due to the old nature of some of these tracks, a couple or few of them aren't quite as clean and "high fidelity" as some of the others. I once had a dated PC setup that made considerable chirping noise while running at times, and this can unfortunately be heard on some of the older tracks, and I did use vintage reel to reel tape for some tracks too. Nevertheless, the compilation is brought to you at 24bit audio resolution, and some of these tracks have never been uploaded even to the internet years ago in such high quality.
I used to call some of my early electronic recordings "krautronika", and a few tracks are from those days of curious experimentation. These tracks share the tracklist space with recordings from right up until 2017 and 2018. "Simulacrum", although recorded years ago in the early period was featured on the 2017 Xytelyon Records compilation "Mind Inflamed, Soul Adrift", and is one of my best electronic pieces, and "Cold (For a Film)", which actually was composed brand new for a local student film in 2018.
Unfortunately, "Chandra" is missing the original Hindu Moon god mantra from the mix because the recording project is so old that I just do not have the mantra file any more. I included it on the compilation because I still really like it. You can hear the original "Chandra" on my Hearthis.at profile, although sourced from mp3, in the playlist "Mystic Trance Sessions", which was also a name I used to group some recordings together back in 2010.
Apart from the older, and exclusive tracks, there is some familiar sounds amongst it all which come from my already existing Bandcamp discography, like "Orb" which is from "The Clearing Mist" EP. This was done as to not exclude or seperate my work period from period, and to tie everything together in a way that tries to cover most of my work over the years.
And finally, "Obsidian" appears here in a modified and remixed form compared to as it does on "Ejection".
I hope you enjoy listening to Electronic Works.
